Our beautiful dock is the only one in sight looking out over a huge span of the Blackwater River. Directly across the river is privately owned and untouched wetlands. Our covered and lit pavilion overlooks the river and offers privacy slats as a backdrop to keep your event completely private while allowing for stunning views from all other open sides.

Nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Milton, The River House Event Venue is conveniently located within walking distance of the 8.1-mile paved Blackwater Heritage State Trail, boat launches, and even a local splash pad/playground. Our venue also offers ample parking for you and your guests. With easy access to major highways, getting to our venue has never been easier.

    Weekend Wedding or Event $2000

    Small Non-Wedding Gatherings inquire for pricing and availability

    Weekday Wedding/Event Special $1600

    (+$300 refundable damage deposit)

    Access to the entire property from 9am-11pm. Includes the Bridal Suite (house with 2.5 bathrooms), covered and lit pavilion, 100 folding chairs, 12x 60" round tables, 4x 6' rectangle tables, prep kitchen, dock, and guest parking. 100 person limit.

    All taxes and cleaning fees included.

    Allows full access to the River House (3-bedroom/2.5 bathroom) for the night before and/or after your event. All taxes and cleaning fees included. Maximum of 8 people. (sleeps 8 - 3 king beds and 2 twin blow-up mattresses)

    Extra nights may be available upon request depending on availability.

    Pets are allowed at an additional fee.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Our venue can accommodate up to 100 guests.

    Yes, you can choose your own vendors! 

    We DO NOT ALLOW the following items on our property: fog/smoke machines, confetti/confetti machines, glitter, candy hearts, streamers, and fake flower petals. Remember, we are all guests on the Blackwater River and need to do our part to preserve its natural beauty and not harm its inhabitants.

    The following ARE allowed: bubbles, petals from live flowers, candles enclosed in hurricane lamps, birdseed, sunflower seeds, sparklers (only in an approved location)

    Yes! The bridal party will have access to the River House at 9 am to get ready, or you could also book the River House the night before your wedding so you can wake up there with your party!

    Yes. We have a fully equipped kitchen with two sinks in the River House that comes included for a wedding or full-day event.

    We request a 50% deposit to reserve the date of your wedding.

    Yes! We do allow pets to be on the property at an additional pet fee.
